Once a Beatnik, always a Beatnik.

When Luke and I started dating I was living above an incredible photography studio, art gallery, concert venue, all around cool space called Beatnik. I was a fixture there and definitely part of the family as I helped with everything from painting walls, bartending, stage building,  pancake flipping, you name it- and I did it there. Well, after five years, they have decided to relocate and it's only natural that I wanted to help. With a busy day today, we jammed over there this morning to help clean the demodust a d scraps at the new space and I'll be back again tomorrow. Til then here's a glimpse at what's going on: 

 

 

 

Midtown Cocktail Week

Well our participation has been limited to just the weekend, but we've made the most of it by spending Friday night at Grange's "The Best Dam Party" (think 1920's-1950's in Amsterdam's Red Light District) and tonight helping out a friend live paint during the West End Party (art, bands, eats and drinks) at Blackbird. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

lululemon athletica

So the biggest news in my life right now is I have begun a new (and full time!) position with lululemon athletica. I have been really hesitant to say anything until things are official, but considering I'm day 4 into training, I think it's pretty Official. :)

I'm really struggling to put into words how incredibly happy and grateful I am right now. In short I will just say- two of our training days included not just lunch breaks, but PAID YOGA BREAKS!!! Are you kidding me?!?! Amazing! I am in bliss. 

And technically, I am I'm Berkeley getting ready to begin another shadow shift. So I must run, but it is a happy Friday today!
