Fourth Recap

We had such a nice fourth of July. I started it with a packed Bikram class. I think I lost a whole bucket's worth of sweat. But Jule's treated us to tons of fresh sliced water melon after class and it was such a delicious treat!!!

After class we picked up some snacks and rode our bikes over to the park to meet up with Jamber. (Formally Jason and Amber). They had BBQ'd and set up a sweet spot on the grass. We flopped out, listened to some smooth R&B jams on their sweet radio (it just felt right) and had fun with their adorable pup, Sophia. The thing with Sopheh, is she is absolutely darling... but I think she knows it and can be a little .... ummm standoffish at first. I am happy to report that she is finally warming up to us and I LOVE her!!!

We also attempted to befriend some  squirrels (said squirrels apparently have enough friends, and didn't give us much love), but we had a fun time throwing the frisbee around. Luke has been mentioning since I have known him how he wants to start playing Ultimate Frisbee again so if anyone else wants to get a pick up game started, let us know!

Our Plan: Jason giving me a boost so that I could place the Cheese Nip on the branch.
We quickly abandoned the idea and went back to lounging.

Post park, we flopped out on the couch (as if we hadn't spent enough time being lazy). Later we reconvened with Troy and had a blast riding bikes along the river and around Old Sac. Woulda brought the camera, but the sun was already going down.
